Brian,
Could your share some details and possibly a picture of the oil catch can setup on the cosworth MX-5 please?
If you don't mind I would like to replicate it. I saw from the partial picture you are not connected back to the intake.
regards

Nothing special about it...take an off the shelf catch can and attach to PCV valve connection and mount where you want. I put mine back near passenger side firewall but you could locate it anywhere.

Thank you sir, I thought it needed another outlet or connection to a vacuum.
So basically you connect that pipe to any bottle (catch can) or something with a single connection.
But the can will need another opening to allow the air out? right

They usually have a filtered breather on them. I currently have two catch cans because we wanted to study blow-bye from both the head and the block but I will be simplifying soon to a single Peterson unit that looks like this.

sorry last question
Where is the other end of the catch can connected to?

Re: Brian - your oil catch setup on Cosworth GWR-MX5
Again, I have two catch cans now....but going to one. Thus, I need can with two connections....one for each input. You only need one input and a breather...though these often have two connections or more. Often that extra connection is run down to a low point under the car so it drips outside the engine compartment. Only needed on a track car.

Okay first picture I understand
But the second one...
The green tube goes to a can with another connection, what is the setup on that end?
