Questions about PPE header

Howdy all,
How quiet is the PPE header for the NC Miata, compared to stock and the other aftermarket headers? Since it comes with the cat, any installation differences between it and the other after market headers?
Thanks!

Headers that remove the converter (Roadstersport and Racing Beat) add a LOT OF SOUND.

The PPE is barely louder than stock because it still has a converter and that converter is a good resonator.

Any idea of the power differences between the PPE header with cat and your RoadsterSport header?

The PPE flows well for low and midrange thanks to smaller primaries. Only the top end does it give up a few hp to the RoadsterSport.

Does anyone know of any dyno charts with the header? It's SCCA legal so some folks must've bought some. The dyno chart on PPE's website doesn't have a legend so I'm not sure which line means what, especially since they also have a midpipe they claim adds 5 HP.

In case any one else is interested, I heard back from PPE, relative to the dynochart on their website:

Red is the baseline run. MX5 with a modified AEM intake and goodwin racing race muffler.
Purple is the same car with the midpipe added.
Blue is the same car with the midpipe and header.

The midpipe adds a suprising amount of torque/HP and seems like a no brainer to me.

Thanks for posting that clarifying information.
