Frame braces...

Just picked a 1990 in great shape for highway and around town use. I would like to stiffen the car and have a question about the front shock tower brace. Any thoughts on which would stiffen the front more, a brace that mounts to the firewall or the more common across the engine bay brace. Not planning on racing but the car will be driven at highway speeds and I would like to stop the jiggles (some)... Thanx

The more connection points the better the results.

And the best brace we can sell you is actually a roll bar. For example, our BossFrog Double hoops include a saddle mount over the transmission tunnel and ties six points of the middle to rear chassis area....with a result that makes the car feel 10 years younger/stiffer
