H&R springs with stock bilsteins

Hi everyone!

I'm thinking of upgrading springs on my car. Here is what I have:
2011 MX-5 soft top with sport package
Racing Beat sway bars, front and rear
Currently run 215/45 r17 on stock wheels (plan to switch to 245/40 with 17x9 wheels)

I do autocross the car and want to make it a bit more competitive and fun, but at the same time it's my daily driver so nothing crazy (60 miles a day :? ). The goal to make it closer to STR specs (sort of). So here is the question - will the H&R springs (235 lbs front and 150 rear) work with the stock Bilsteins HD? I'm pretty sure it'll be fine with Eibachs and Progress, but those I think a bit soft for me.

I'll also install FCM bumstops, but what length and stiffness should I use?

Appreciate any help!

That should work out fine....though if autocross are in the plans I always prefer an adjustable shock like the KONI or Tokico. Otherwise, you are very limited in your ability to adjust balance of the car...particularly as the car warms the front tires on the first autocross run but the rears won't reach full temp until at least the third run.

Thanks Brian!

I do agree on the adjustable shocks, but I'm on a tight budget... will have to play with tire pressure for now...

Do you know what will be the optimal length of the bumpstop in this case? I think smthg like FCM 36 front 58 rear should be ok, not sure though...
Also do you know if the spring is long enough not to get loose at the full extension with the stock shock?
