Lots of great new wheels coming. New flow formed choices from Traklite coming, including 14 pound 17x7.5 and 15 pound 17x8 for NC (no pictures available yet).

The 15x8 and 15x9 market is going to get even hotter. New FLOW FORMED choices from Konig. One will be sold under their upscale Avanti line, and one under the Konig label...but BOTH are FLOW FORMED which means stronger/lighter than lesser casting methods.

Here are the AVANTI STORM versions, Semi-Matte Anthracite and Semi-Matte Black. I think these look great, but note that KONIG label version will have more clearance for our Big Brakes. Weights for for 15x8 in 12 pounds range and 15x9 expected in 13 pound range but we never know exact weights until production versions land on our scales here, likely in FEBRUARY.

Konig versions "Dialed-IN" will be 15x7, 15x8, 15x9. Again, expected weights respectively at 11, 12, 13 pounds, but we never know for sure from prototypes.. must wait until production versions land on our scales here for final weights.

Note the Konig version is 12 spoke instead of 10. Before anybody locks in on which appearance they prefer note the Avanti was shot with center cap against nice uniform background surfaces, the Konigs below didn't get that advantage. Again, don't know which will clear our Big Brakes yet, but this Konig version certainly had more clearance for our big four and six piston calipers.

More shots of Cord Bauer's Catfish, this time at SEMA.

Thanks to Cord for letting me sit in it. What happens when you sit in it is that you notice how everything is located exactly where it should be...the shifter, the steering wheel, etc. Thanks to the Miata bits under the skin it all feels just like home immediately.

Brian, tell us more about the 6-spoke Enkei's like on the white BRZ. Sizes, colors, offsets?

And that reminds me, the new Enkei Racing Line choice at the show this year is the RS05RR.

This is a 'high end' Racing Line Enkei, they warned me to expect almost Volk prices and it is just 18 inch for now. Nice wheel, hopefully 17 inch will follow for NC owners.

Hi Ron

Note that one is Tuning series. They did note it is MAT production so it should be reasonably light, but won't be as light as Racing Line choices. Here are the starting sizes and offsets from 2014 catalog not yet online but they gave me one at the show.

Nice, but those spoke faces look like they might be "at risk" somewhat.

That T6S looks like a Kojin with one more spoke
NC1 - Bilstein B16 - Eibach sways - Alleggerita HLT 8J17 - Kics Leggdura lug nuts - Advan Neova AD08 225/45 - Maruha brake pads - 4.1 R&P

Yep, that appears to be what they did.
