Need help with NB for Solo ES (street) suspension

I am new to Solo auto cross. I want to compete in ES the street class which has limits on legal changes. Have only done two events so far.
I have a 2002 SE which has bigger wheels, brakes etc. but regular shocks and springs.
Want to upgrade the shocks but do not understand what is legal.
If I go to the Bilsteins or similar I need new boots and bumpers. Class rules restrict bump stops but I am not sure how?

Can I upgrade to the Bilstein shocks and keep the stock springs?

If I change the springs is that legal?

Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

Bob

Welcome.

Sorry, no spring change for stock class!

You can run up to 60mm of bumpstops and most folks use our 58mm 'stock class' FCM stops on adjustable KONI Sport shocks. You want the Koni instead of the Bilstein so you have adjustable damping which in addition to the stop kit will help you balance the car.
