Ok so I am running a stock 99 sport for my daily driver. A new clutch is in line soon and I was set on going with your happy meal exedy kit but with only header, full exhaust and intake in my cars future could I run a lightweight flywheel with the stock replacement exedy clutch with the same results to save that extra 200 off the clutch? The only need for the heavier duty clutches is if you are putting down more power correct? The mear 20 hp gain from full exhaust and headers and flywheel does not justify a heavy duty clutch does it?

The car is driven pretty hard though mostly on backhill roads with an autox or two a year. would i be better off with the heavier duty clutch simply because I drive the car harder too? Just trying to save money but I don't want to skimp out on clutch if it's going to hurt preformance much.

Yes, if you want to do clutch dumps to leave the line hard for autocross then you want the stage 1 instead of just the stock replacement. Not every event has a drag race start...but you want to be ready for those without having to worry about breaking it, etc.
