Hello Brian,
I just picked up a 2000 Miata Project Car.
It runs, shifts & handles pretty well considering
the old girl never had much TLC. My goal for
this car is to make it a street legal go kart. I'm
thinking of starting out with some Coilovers & Sway Bars...Could you recommend a brand & maybe other items to complete my suspension upgrades ?
Thank You Very Much,
Bill Miller
P.s. I am thinking of Advanti Storm S1 15x9 w/ The Largest R1R Tires I can fit under this car !!!

Welcome, congrats on the new toy.

I ran those Bilstein PSS9 for years in my 99 and it worked amazingly well. But that was 10 years ago and Bilstein has not updated the design. In the meantime, TEIN has been through a few generations and that new Mono Sport setup would now be my choice over the Bilstein. Indeed you will likely want that Racing Beat front sway and links. As for rear sway, stock rear sway to start with that TEIN spring combo of 10 and 8. The amount of lowering will have a big impact on balance and you might end up later wanting more rear sway, but perhaps just a little more like 12mm or 14mm.
