Emissions in Texas

Post by CursedSIC »

Howdy folks.
I'm looking to install catless headers on my NC MX5, with a catted mid pipe, and super Q catback.
i.e. the max power setup.
However, I live in an emissions county in Texas.
since the mid pipe has a cat, do I need the headers cat to pass, or will I be fine without it?
This is a DD, with limited track use, though it will be used as one.

I have that setup and pass the OBD test with no problems (Denton County).
