Hi Brian,

I am considering getting an ND for daily street use and some amount of autocross . I like the standard features of the GT model. I notice that the Front shock tower brace , sports tuned suspension and limited slip differential are not included .
Can these be special ordered. Which way should i go?

Thanks

You can't get those items on the GT from Mazda is my understanding but you can add any of these goodies to the GT after delivery, we have added the limited slip to our GT already along with coilovers and we will run it in STR class autocross. If you want to race Stock/Street class then Club likely the easier choice but right now my guess is that Club ends up in different street class. My guess is that Club goes to BS with 2007 MSR and rest of the new ND go to CS. T

Is it advisable to race without converting to LSD? what would be the approximate cost to do that?

Thanks for taking my questions.

I expect guys shooting for national caliber cars will use an OSGIKEN limited slip, likely those are available for ND come January and cost about $1700. But the factory unit is fine for local competition and about half that cost. Figure install at 5+ hours.

I'm curious what is drawing you to the GT rather than the club? You get the LSD you want with the club, plus about $1500 savings for mods.
