NC Silicone Hose Set

Post by matthew-m »

My car has over 110k miles and I figure it is time to replace all rubber under the hood. I am debating whether to use the NC Silicone Hose set or OEM replacement hoses. Will the silicone hoses last as long as the OEM? Will I need any OEM hoses because the kit does not include them?

Thank you!

The silicon last longer than the factory rubber.

Hi Brian,

Can you confirm whether or not this hose kit works with turbocharger systems? I understand its an OEM replacement kit, but I'm wondering if turbocharging systems render certain hoses in this kit unnecessary or incompatible.

Thanks!

At least 3 turbo kits out there, from pics it appears some include coolant hose though I have not installed any of them yet so just don't know how much, if any, of our silicon hose kit gets replaced.

I'll figure it out. I ordered the hose kit, triple pass rad and aluminum coolant res. I'll get some pictures after Joe gets it all together with a fab9 EFR so others can know how much of the kit it used and if any hoses need to be modified.
