BIG news for STR in the ND

Our friends at 949 Racing Report:

It's official. 245/40/17 RE71R fits the ND with unrolled fenders on our 17x9 6UL and OEM liners in place. Just a few a millimeters to spare inside and out. We load the car to max G left and right at various steering angles. The litmus test is a 15° driveway that enters a downhill sloped access road. We enter that at various angles of attack at about 25-30mph, already turning. Catches air with all four tires then bottoms RF, RR, LR in rapid succession. Flexes wheel, tire, suspension (Xida) and chassis. I wince every time I do it, particularly to a brand new car . We listen for signs of contact. It then goes onto the lift where we inspect every possible point of contact.

We got the the rears to just touch the outside fender lip when jumping but that's it. STR legal fender roll addresses that. It's on.
