Yes, 17x9 is fine for daily duty. 235/40R17 or 245/40R17 should be just fine. Or you can choose 245/35R17 if you choose the right tire.

How much work will be necessary to run 9x17's with 235/40 tires. I'm quite low on coilovers.
How much work is involved to the fenders to get this combo working?

So a mild fender roll front and rear would be enough to drive 235's? No camber fiddling, liner cutting, steer angle limiting?

Well, if you go zero camber that might be an issue.....nobody has tried that. Figure anywhere over a degree of camber and the roll should be very mild. Had some guys report no roll needed when they were lowered a lot with over two degrees of negative camber.

Sorry to ask Yet another fitment question, I was curious if very little to no roll was needed when using the RS3 tire in the 225-45-17 size on this wheel ?
