Sneak Peak...NC Brace that fits with Superchargers, AC, etc

Post by Brian »

My issue with the MazdaSpeed Brace is the odd way they let the tower design interfere with adjustable shocks on the driver's side. So, we have been working on nice light aluminum one piece unit that clears the supercharger kit easily....and clears all adjustable shock tops, has no issue with the AC lines, etc. I don't have price yet but expect cost well under the cost of the MS unit...and hope to have on shelf in by middle of summer.

This is a sneak peak and I had to obscure the brand name because they don't want that part public yet.

Very nice. I just installed my MS unit and happened to notice the interference with the driver-side shock adjustment. I'll bet the one-piece design will be more rigid as well. Sigh.

It will be a while, fitment cleared for production but figure at least a month or two wait.

Are you going to implement a cross brace that goes between the shock towers?

I don't expect they are going to change the design.
