Our MX5 Flares....

Post by Brian »

Great pics of our MX5 Flares, original style, courtesy of customer Chris Robbins.

This is his street setup, 17x10 38ET with 255/40.

Looks great Chris, although somewhat naked without the decals!

Gimme a couple of weeks...the fresh paint has to cure! 8)

I also had the front emblem relief and the antenna hole filled and smoothed.

The flares look great. Do they have to be riveted? I read they come with 2 sided tape for installation but will that be strong enough for daily driving?

I think they're probably strong enough for daily usage...I autocross mine and don't want them coming loose with a cone strike, especially since I cut them at the nose so I can take it off easily.

Chris, I see what your street wheel and tire set up is, wondering what you use for Autox?

Also, anyone have any pics of what needs to be cut and welded in the rear?
