Track alignment and ride height

Post by Zadnak »

This question is for Brian and anyone else who tracks an NC;

What alignment and ride height are yall running for the track?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the tire (must check tire temps to really get it right for particular tire choice), but in general start with something like this and adjust as the tire temps dictate.

Front
2.5 negative camber
zero toe
As much caster as we can get with the numbers above

Rear
2.0 negative camber
1/8th total toe IN

Great info, thank you! I'm running BFG Sport Comp 2 tires to learn on.

What should I use to monitor temps?

You want the probe style sensor, that has the point on it that can get below the outer surface. Longacre and other companies make them.

Thanks for this, Brian. I'm headed to the track with my track tires for the first time in a few weeks. Will definitely keep this info in mind as I work on setup.

Best,
