Yeah, my wife is CFO and keeps reminding me of that fact (adding up the numbers for even just the parts and time invested at minimum wage.... we get PAST that number pretty quick).Traum wrote:You know, Brian, with all the development time you've sunk into the car, you are really taking a loss at $60k.Brian wrote:yes, show up with check for $60,000 and we will take the loss on it.

Re: NC Light
NOW FOR SALE....time to make room for more projects. Would be SUPER FUN NASA or SCCA HPDE toy.
Asking 45k. See latest NC track 100K build for better understanding of why that price is a bargain, you can't build it like this without spending more than double the money.

Sad to see it go. I can only hope the development of RACE parts doesn't stop.

Re: NC Light
Bump so you folks out there can find the thread, yes we know it is for sale but we are not the party selling it.
Please do not call us about this car, ALL the info we ever had is in this thread, and we have NOT seen the car in about FIVE YEARS so we really have no idea on current setup of that car, what is in it now, etc. We hear the price is getting low enough the value is likely there in the chassis but we have no clue on current condition of it, etc.

Re: NC Light
In keeping with Brian's theme figured I'd continue with the lightning process, battery updated to an Odyssey PC680, saved 20 lbs and lowered the center of gravity. Still working on the brakes, getting better though....
Re: NC Light
I like that mod, thanks for posting pics! By the way, the hole in the trunk floor was where the dry sump was going to go, ended up staying a lot more simple with the setup and avoided the lines to and from, etc. Those rubber clamps were for original Moton separate reservoir shock setup, which we didn't like in practice so we changed to the Ohlins.
