Sorry, the center caps shown on this one we sold years ago and the source has dried up... However, Rota caps fit...

Same owner a few years later....with the same set of RP-F1 still going strong and having migrated to his newest Miata (thanks for the photo Maury!):

Had two customers order ENKEI RP-F1s today. Both ordered 15x7. Both ordered Toyo T1R tires....but one with 195.50/15s and the other with 205/50/15s. Could not resist the temptation to throw the combos on the scale so we could get past the listed specs and see the finished weights when mounted and balanced. Same 41mm offset for both sets. Drum roll please...

Enkei 41mm offset 15x7 RP-F1 with 195/50/15.....just 26 pounds even!

Enkei 41mm offset 15x7 with 205/50/15....just 28.8 pounds!

Our favorite Enkei RP-F1 on a Mazda3 (same fitment as 2006 Miata and Mazda 6). Photos courtesy of Bill Evans of Canada!

Here it is....Toyo 245/35/16s on Enkei's fabulous RP-F1 16x8. For all you traction starved types..this is the WIDEST street tire you can get on a 90-05 Miata without serious work. Stocklike 22.8 inch diameter with this combination but 9.6 inches wide! We did NOT road test today but turning the wheel lock to lock and checking clearance all around under this particular Miata suggests that NA owners just might have to roll the rear lips a little depending on amount of lowering and camber but NB owners are likely clear. The Miata in these pictures is VERY low...just 11.5 inches center of wheel to lip in the front, and a little over 12 inches in the rear. Most lowered Miatas are NOT this low so we are reasonably confident that in fitting this Miata...this combo should fit most. We also have Toyo T1r in 215/40/16 which will work very well on this rim, and the slightly taller 225/40/16s in the same tire.

I like this shot because it shows that with the right offset even 245s can tuck under the fenders.

P.S. Our models in the background are world's most decorated Miata autocrosser George Doganis and world's greatest tire mounter Steve Coe. Thanks to Steve also for use of his STS2 car for these photos.
