Beautiful color combination. I look forward to seeing it and hearing it.

A couple of questions.
1. Is the ride still soft enough for a daily driver? I know this is a subjective question but how does the boss feel about it on her way to Trader Joe's?

2. Have you made any decisions on sound deadening?

BTW - Thanks for the advice on the Q. Your were right when you described the torque as a key element. Only a few hours with it and I already appreciate the acceleration. Sound was really nice as I cruised home late tonight. Top down with the stars and a great exhaust is fun. This weekend I will test the torque on some twisty road. Sways come next month.

This is still a softer spring rate than came factory on a much lighter 1990 Miata.

Thus, I think easily soft enough for anybody...and the wife loves it.

Glad you like the RoadsterSport Q.

My .02 cents,
I have found the ride changes more with a tire change more so than with this set of springs. If you have Run-Flat tires sell them now as they ride like crap!
Koni's can stiffen the ride a lot more. I run mine on full soft and they ride better than the OEM shocks. I think it's because the Koni's are a twin-tube shock. They take out the small little bumps and still control the bigger stuff better. Maybe someone can explain how & why I can't! My 52 year old butt dyno needs adjusted some what, as it's been like a set of old springs or new Racing Beat springs (sagging)

Enjoy,

Had a great road trip in our project car! Fun mountain roads and gorgeous sky views! Our project was a blast up and down the mountain roads, could really feel the upgraded power and sways and springs through all the tight corners! Some pics from the trip.

So which roads did you take? Did you run into any thundershowers?

Did you get to drive?

Did you learn something new for the next mods?

The car looks good, as do you and the wife.

Take care.

I got lucky, she let me have all the fun. Numerous roads to and from Idyllwild area including 74, 79, 371, 243, and various side roads, etc. We had a few drops of rain but not much. Can't say I learned anything in particular, just enjoyed the open road driving.

Very nice images. I especially liked the Manzanita bark. What are shooting with?

How did you like 243? Uphill or down?

BTW what tires are you running on you project?
