Brian,
Are you planning on doing a dyno comparison to the old shorty anytime before Jan?

The sooner the better, that way we can all see exactly what great job you did on this. I can't wait to get one on my car.

Brian,
Been doing my peeking around at parts (as we all do, I'm sure) and I see that FlyinMiata offers a 1.75" LONG tube PPE for the 2.5L motors and a matching midpipe. Do you have any experience or input regarding this one?

Re: Back in Winning Blue. Our 'new' Project Blue!
We have tested every size up through 1.8 inch, and much depends on what you are doing with the 2.5. The 1.75 is not bad for long tube, and 1.8 is better even for stock compression, which is why we will be offering both our shortie and the PPE in 1.8. Our buddy Mike at MotoEast offers a 2.0 if you really want to max the results on a built or boosted 2.5. If not boosted and just running stock compression pistons then you don't get much further gains after our 1.63 size PPE.

I'll re-evaluate the options on the market when it gets closer to that part of the budget. Thanks Brian!
