Big Fun with our New ND Front Spoiler!
Made for us just up the road here in San Diego this item adds both style and downforce. Made for us by our friends at DG Motorsports who have extensive experience on many of Mazda's own prototype and show cars over the years. Thanks to that experience Dave at DG is amazingly good at designing an item that works with the lines in the car, so that it picks up and extends the factory style. Result is that the item could easily be taken for a stock or optional factory part except it is more aggressive in profile than the stock options. Comes down about 1.5 inches and comes out about the same amount. Made in urethane because our customers in the real world need and want something that doesn't crack if you tap a parking curb.

Winner! Amazing how fast things are coming out for the ND -- wish it had been this way for the NC.
Re: ND Development, Testing, Measurements Thread...
Indeed super fast development of lots of fun ND stuff, it seems every week something new and fun and I can't yet imagine what the ND aftermarket looks like a year from now.

Curious to see the stock dyno numbers on the Club, if they are indeed better than GT

FIRST LAGUNA SECA ND TRACK DRIVE!
THE GOOD: Our ND is fast. We have autocrossed it but today was first time on track. The 17x9 with Ohlins and our Progress Sways nail it to the turns with Maxxis 235/40/17 Race Tires.
THE BAD: Like the Porsche Cayman the Traction control is NEVER really off. Even when off it is monitoring, only discovered this today. For autocross I have never had it turn itself back on but here at Laguna it just did it three times in my last session, turn 6 every time. Each time I went in hard to the apex in fourth gear and got just a little air under the rear wheels with wheel spin after the dip under full throttle and the result is the flashing of light from the slip detected light and a cut of power and then the traction control 'off button' light goes out (indicating that traction control is now in full effect again). So, unless you are careful and go light into turn 6 here you need to hold down the traction control button to get it off again before the Corkscrew. I understand that our friends at Long Road Racing found the same thing and the solution was to rotate the yaw sensor by 90 degrees.

Hi Brian, is there any way you can do a broomstick test with your blue ND?
Re: ND Development, Testing, Measurements Thread...
See the pics in the next post...no need for the broomstick.PAW47 wrote:Hi Brian, is there any way you can do a broomstick test with your blue ND?
