Brian, are there any new naturally aspirated parts tests/results coming soon? Ported head, cams, intake manifolds, ITBs? I've already got the itch again. :/

Hopefully soon get some good results for flowed head. First attempt we opened it too much, gained top end but lost a lot of bottom end torque, overall area under the curve was down. Going to try again with a different strategy and another head and see how it goes. Then comes the cams, then the supercharger.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the test results from that head? I'd just like to see what happens where in the power band.

I didn't get the chart, but it was minor gains above 5500 for big torque losses below.

Got it. A thought about what order to go in, the exhaust cam is a bad bottleneck in this engine, so the cams may make head porting work better for you. I don't know where you are in development, but cams may be the best first step.

Yep, that exhaust side cam is seriously tight, no duration, looking at solutions for that soon.

B8 Performance Plus Dampers for the Miata!

Non-adjustable, shorter shock body, pretty much the same thing here that they did on NC application which has proven popular with customers installing lowering springs. These do NOT change the amount of lowering, they change the amount of travel you would otherwise have as the bodies are shorter. In other words, use these with lowering springs and keep more travel....and they are valved more aggressively to handle higher spring rates. Piston sizes are quite a bit bigger than stock black Tokicos as you can see below, and impressive is the fact that use of nice aluminum mounts helps these come in a hair lighter on weight despite the bigger piston sizes. Nice work Bilstein!

Rears on the scales.

First Drive Impressions. Put them in our RF with the RoadsterSport Springs (300 front rate, 200 rear). They handle the rate without issue, high speed damping in particular is very well controlled. More time behind the wheel needed to say more, but first impression is that I like them....

How do the B8 ( or B6, for that matter) differ to the Club Bilstein?

Who wants a FREE Supercharger installed? Testing for CARB is underway for manual trans, now an Automatic is needed to finish the testing.

MUST be AUTOMATIC Trans, MUST BE in Southern California! Please do NOT call us about this offer with your car in Florida or Texas, etc. Needs to be a California car already here in Southern California and must be automatic trans.

In exchange for loaning vehicle for 6-10 weeks to Edelbrock, the owner will receive a supercharger, installation, before and after dyno results at no charge from Edelbrock. If interested, contact Brian at Good-Win Racing.
