What's a reasonable amount of shop labor to expect for the RS springs and sways on a 2016 Club? I got quoted ~6 hrs for springs and ~ 3 for sways with no reduction for getting both done at the same time.

Where are you located? We might have somebody to recommend in your area. In general an hour per corner for springs/shocks, adding at least an hour if alignment is included is not unusual. Rear sway bar is easy, like 20 minutes easy, but the front on this generation is not easy, and if the shop is doing it for the first time on this car it could take 2+ hours.

Located just north of Milwaukee, WI. If you can advise a shop with experience, that would be awesome!

Sorry, don't have shop to suggest there...but post same question in bigger Miata.net forum and likely somebody does have a suggestion for you there.

Another great resource for finding a shop to do the work in your neck of the woods is to try your local (or nearest) Miata club. They usually have recommendations for shops that know these cars.

To clear things up regarding install times... earlier notes above about sways being an easy install applies to earlier generations but as noted by Brian in his most recent post, because this is an ND, sway bars are NOT the simple install that they are on earlier models. Most shops will quote almost the same amount of shop time for a pair of sway bars as install time for springs for this car. At the shop here, Rocky says 2.5-3 hours for sways, 4 hours for springs.

I've decided to bite the bullet and get both the RS springs and sways done. For initial setup on the RS sways, which setting would you suggest? The car is my daily driver, lots of highway time, and no track use.

It still has the OEM tires, but those will go next spring. Any suggestions on a summer tire that won't be too harsh with this setup?

Start middle position front and rear, adjust to taste from there.

Two questions:
Are new endlinks required to go with the RoadsterSport sways?
Why are the collars needed?

New links not required, particularly for street use.

Links are handy for lowered cars in particular to get geometry right.

Just got the sways installed. 2 hours total labor, which is fair. Wow - what a difference! I didn't realize how much roll there was until it was gone. Even on my snows (16" Blizzak) the setup is a blast!
