Hi,
Desperately need some advice here.
I am planning to put in a set of Rays Engineering CE28 on my NC.
Specs as such: 225/40R17 7.5J offset 43.
I am planning to to lower the car subsequently by around 1.5inches.
Do you think this configuration is ok? i.e. Will it rub on inner walls and will it affect the brakes calipers?
Currently running on orginal NC 17" 205/45R17 7J
Thanks a million for the help!

That will rub all day long.
Nice wheel and if my memory is correct they make that in a 49mm or 50mm offset. IF you don't want to worry about rolling fender lips get the 49mm or 50mm and that will fit pretty well with the 225 tire, though consider a 235/40/17 for a better stock diameter match.

Compared to the stock RX-7 FD wheels (8" wide, +50 offset), these 7..5", +43 offset wheels only extend an extra 1mm from the outside.
From the inner side they have much more clearance.
Does that 1mm make such a big difference?
