Actually, we can custom a flat bottom for you George....we just can't easily get a kit made. But custom would mean coming to California and about 4k. Reducing that to a kit under 1k has been the issue we can't seem to get nailed down....at least so far.

would there be any advantage to running a flat bottom without the rear diffusor section?

yes, flat bottom helps....with or without the rear diffuser.

I don't but it is real simple. Look in the lower 'mouth' of the car. This splitter has an upper lip that slides into that lower mouth fits snug over the lower lip in the that lower mouth of the car. Then it comes out, and wraps down around the lower edges on eash side of that lower 'mouth' and has FOUR holes on each outer edge bottom to screw into the factory bottom. Comes with the hardware.
