NC Alignment, Why did it feel better before ?

Hi

I recently had my alignment done to much more accurate settings but strangly it felt better before

If you look at the attached photos you can see that the old alignment was out from side to side

Why did it feel better than the new settings

Would the additional camber made it feel better or do you think it was the extra rear toe

Before it felt like more planted, the traction control light comes on now far far to easy !

The car is a 2.0 with Eibachs and Bilstein suspension

running on 17" with 205 x 45 x 17 Toyo tyres

I use the car every day on country roads (about 35 miles a day)

100% street, no tracks

Ideally i want the car to keep in a straight line with no tramlining, be very neutral through corners, and only loose grip (traction control light on) when pushed very hard

Any thoughts much appreciated

Sorry, don't see anything dramatic that would explain a significant degradation in feel.

Did you check your tire pressure?

The alignment shop might pump the tires up to equalize all 4 tires' pressure. That may be the reason.

Since your car has been lowered on Eibachs, I'd at least go for -1 deg of camber in front. I'd be surprised if you your car doesn't plow at the limit right now.
