Ron, can you post more pics of your car? How about a front, head on pic and a rear pic? Your DP car looks awesome! Did you fill in the flares so that they painted smooth? I thought the flares from Brian had a texture to them much like the SEMA car.

Okay, a few more pics.

A little more background on what I did to the flares. As shown earlier in the thread, the flares have a big lip all the way around. Obviously, that is of little help from a practical point. It works cosmetically, but if you want the extra tire clearance, it requires trimming this lip down. I trimmed all the way out to the edge of the flare everywhere the tire would go inside the flare. Then I also trimmed about an inch and a half off of the fenders front and rear for extra clearance. In the rear, that requires a bit of work as this goes above where the inner and out fenders come together.

Lastly, before sending the flares off to be painted, I decided to also cut the flares where the standard "cuts" are on the car. Basically the flares are one piece and are primarily held on by double stick tape (industrial, of course.) If they go on the car this way, and you decide later to remove either bumper or the side skirts, you have to remove the flares to do this. Thus, I cut the flares in the same spots where the bumpers meet up with the body and where the side skirts meet up.

I did drill a couple of holes to be able to put screws through the flares to attach to the stock fender lips. Unfortunately, there isn't the capability to do this all the way around, so the double stick tape is the primary holder.

Oh, and as far as "filling" the flares, they come smooth from Goodwin Racing. They were just rough sanded and primered/painted. The match is incredibly accurate. We're very lucky to have some sponsorship help from Pacific Auto Body in Seattle. Their talent is amazing!

Without further ado, more pics.
