Anyone know of a write up on installing RX8 brakes on an NC (2006) MX5? I'm specifically interesting in how the parking brake is incorporated. Thanks!

Faz (Cyberbug) installed Brian's front big brake kit along with RX-8 rear calipers and larger rear rotors. His blog is at newmiata.com

Customer Darin Smith with our Wilwood 12.88 front kit installed, matched nicely with RX8 factory rear brakes.

Really nice Brian! What do you estimate the weight savings is per corner? (considering doing the same thing....some day)

See pics and details on the front 12.88 kit in our Project Blue thread, about 10 pounds of unsprung weight saved in the front with that kit. Rear RX8 factory brakes are adding weight to the rear, still a cast iron caliper. We are working with Wilwood on rear kit but no idea when that effort will bear fruit, or even if it will see production.
