Adjusting shocks for new 6UL's

I just put on my brandy new 15x8 6UL's and took off some 17x7 SSR's from my NB. Obviously the 6UL's are lighter (~5lbs per corner!!!) and I would like to adjust my suspension to match the new unsprung weights. I have Koni yellows (single adjustable) and Swift springs (~+10% from stock).

Am I correct in assuming I can soften the shocks a bit because they don't have as much weight to control anymore? If so, does anyone have any experience with how far (how many turns, or partial turns) to achieve the same level of damping as before?

Yes, you can soften a little....but the amount is a blend of pure personal taste and the road conditions you meet.

So, adjust to taste....

Thanks Brian. Absolutley love the wheels by the way. I have gotten a lot of great comments. The best so far?

"It went from clean, to mean." Gotta love that...
