Brian,

Do you know if the 70mm RX-8 TB is interchangeable with the 60mm MX-5? I can't seem to find the pinout for the Rx-8 TB.

Great question, but I have never looked at it. If you find out, let us know.

The connectors look similar! I have a buddy with an rx8 I think I may take a look and get back to you guys. If anyone has an rx8 manual I have one for an mx5 and we can compare.

Don't waste your time, it is not compatable. The pin out is different, the values of the TPS are different (both of them) and the direction of rotation for the throttle plate is backwards.

I tried swaping out the TPS section but the rotation killed that idea. I even tried to remove the throttle plate to flip it over and just destroyed the shaft, the plate screws are peened onto the shaft. It was not intended to come apart.
