BBK for 15x7.5 6UL

Post by EricM756 »

Do any of the big brake kits fit under the 15x7.5 6UL (+42 offset) wheels?

Thanks,

Eric

Nope...part of the compromise to max the lightness of the 7.5 width version was lack of space for BBK

Yes, the 8 inch version made with the BBK as part of the plans and it clears all versions of our big brake kit. In fact, all our 15x8 wheels clear the big brake kit.

I need to change my answer because a customer surprised me with picture of the 7.5 6UL wheels with our Version4 Big Brake kit. So, despite fact the wheel was not made in that size to clear our brakes, it appears it is VERY TIGHT but does clear. The fit is a matter of a few mm and I still have some concern about finish damage in tight spaces from rocks bouncing around in there but it does appear to clear.

Brian:

With the clearance you are seeing in that photo, how much additional (spacer) would you suggest to feel comfortable with the fit?

Thanks,

Eric

Just 3mm should be enough.
