San Diego SCCA Match Tour yesterday, got the win in CS. Tough day on almost no sleep for me, had to rally hard to get just a bit ahead of my buddy Scott for the win. Car was best it has been, as the driver I was less than my best, but together we got the job done.

Our CS setup continues to evolve, must be on rear bumpstop formula number 5 at this point, it is what you see below. Cut off the smallest 'donut' from a pair of our hardest stops and then shaved them under the length of the stock ND2 stops. This is a lot of rear stop rate, if we used top dollar compression adjustable shocks we would not need these at all, but the goal is a CS package with the affordable 'off the shelf' standard KONI sport shocks. This is not a recommendation that everyone go and do what you see here, this made so much oversteer the first time I tried something similar that we initially retreated to a mix of medium and hard rear stop. Eventually decided to try something hard on hard again and LEARN to drive it. YES, I did spin this setup in practice, so did co-driver Greg. But in the end we both prefer it once we figured out how to drive it. Car has won two events in a row on this setup now, going to leave it alone for a while.

Did you know that all new ND2 Global Cup Cars come standard with the Carbon Miata Grille for improved cooling?

Got beat last event by Jon Lugod's ND, got back on top today! No changes to car, last time I was sleepless and this time I was prepared with 8 hours of sleep and drove a lot better. He has those big dollar double adjustable shocks and everything else top dollar, we got off-the-shelf KONI Sport but that was enough for today!

Another CS Fun Day! Got the CS win, might be top PAX but I didn't stay long enough to see the print out final. Sound by RoadsterSport Race, KONI SPORT shocks, front sway upgrade, HARD rear stops, driving by Brian.
