I've owned a really clean 2005 base Miata for about a week now, and I have loved it! This morning I put the top down and went for a drive, and noticed when I got to my destination that the rear glass had shattered! I tried searching this and other forums for a way to replace the rear window without replacing the top, but found nothing promising.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the rear window without replacing the entire soft top? Or would it even be cost effective to do so? Also, is it common to break the rear glass when lowering the top? I don't think I slammed it or anything, but I can't be certain.
