Brian, question about NC2 exhaust "loudness"

Re NC PRHT manual, Brian, I think you now think the RSII will work with the HH midpipe because of the drone elimination. Can you explain how much "louder" the RSII, with ceramic street header and HH midpipe, will be than the Super Q with ceramic street header and HH midpipe. I understand this is all subjective, but it's hard to make a purchase decision because the HH mid is so new there aren't a lot of full exhausts to hear.

Don't want to push my luck, but can you answer the baffles effect? Say, Q w/o baffles is X% louder than w/baffles, RSII w/baffles is Y% louder than Q w/o baffles, and RSII w/o baffles is Z% louder than RSII w/baffles.

I know I want the ceramic street header and HH mid. I'm not sure the Super Q, even w/o baffles, will be loud enough for me. I'm thinking the RSII w/baffles will be what I want for daily driving and RSII w/o baffles will be what I want for spirited driving. I am fully stock right now and looking for 25% - 35% louder (w/baffles - w/o baffles). Am I looking for the RSII or the Super Q? Thanks.

Honestly the best I can say is that for ME....with PRHT I would still do SuperQ with the header and HH midpipe.

I appreciate and am even amazed at how much the HH Midpipe has made the RSII civilized enough to use on PRHT...but it is still an aggressive choice and every day it might get a bit much for me. My customers under 30 tell me it is 'Epic' with the header and HH...but I only wish I was still under 30.

Thanks Brian. Found a local guy with an NC1, HH mid and a RSII. I will go listen to his. Then, should there be much sound difference between an NC1 and an NC2? Finally, how much loudness will the ceramic street header add to the HH mid/RSII package I will hear? Appreciate your help with this. Adding various components (header, midpipe, etc.) to the exhaust question makes this personal decision that much more difficult. But, I think I'm getting pretty close to placing this GWR order. Thanks again.

In case anyone else wants to know, did the full exhaust w/RSII muffler. For me, it's perfect. You do hear the exhaust every time you hit the gas. Some may not want this (like Brian), but I am not minding it. While you do hear the exhaust every time you accelerate, it does not bother me or detract from the driving. It is not intrusive into my driving and I'm glad I choose the RSII.

P.S. Replaced Bose stereo about 700 miles after full exhaust and new stereo sounds great, even with "always on" exhaust. Exhaust does not decrease enjoyment of new stereo.

notalk - Thanks for the update and I'm glad you're happy with the result. I'm curious why you chose the RSII muffler with catted street header, as opposed to SuperQ with a non-catted header. Either combo would give a prominent exhaust note, but the non catted header might give slightly better flow. Just curious about your thought process as I'm also considering an exhaust upgrade for my NC2 and better sound (vs OEM) is my primary motivation.

Wanted the cat header to comply with emission requirements. Didn't want the State to fail the car because a cat had been removed. Non-cat header was never really an option. Wanted the RSII because it is both louder and lighter than SuperQ.
