Wasn't sure which thread to post this in, but just saw the V2 shock tower brace in my GWR e-mail. New design looks awesome and should be quite a bit stiffer without being much heavier. I see that you're taking pre-orders, but any estimate on when they'll arrive? I think I just found my Father's Day present! :D

If it's coming soon, definitely post an announcement on miata.net as well. I'm sure this will be a big hit -- almost all the stiffening of the Cobalt but much lighter and much more affordable.

They have arrived, just waiting on us gathering hardware and putting it all together. Hope to start shipping by middle of this week, will see.

Ooooh, thats tempting. Two questions for you Brian: Will this new brace clear the Eddlebrock Supercharger? Also, when do you expect the Progress Springs for the ND RF to be back in stock? I went to pick some up & they were gonzo

Yes, new shock tower brace fits the supercharger....it's in the picture.

Hope to see that next batch of springs by end of June.

Is the Edelbrock available for the ND2 yet? If so, what are the power results for CARB?

Saw that you put Ohlins on. How do you and your wife compare this to the previous set up?

Wife wanted something a bit more sophisticated. If you hit a serious pothole the DFV (Dual Flow Valving) opens to absorb that instantly in a way that no single valved shock can do. So, it handles better than ever before and yet it rides better than it did with any prior setup.

Getting close to production on our new oil pan. Properly baffled, trap one-way doors to prevent oil starvation in high G use on track, fins for cooling, higher capacity, all the tricks. Installed final version on wife's Supercharged RF, smooth install except we are going to do custom air scoop shield under the pan because the high capacity pan with fins comes down far enough that stock shield won't clear.

For track guys doing serious builds the great news is 7 quarts of oil equals much more stable oil temps, and pan design means no gaps in oil pressure, and connections to pan make turbo installs so much easier! That's a temp sensor we have installed here at far left, then the drain plug, and at right is return to pan for a turbo.

Hope to be on shelf here by Summer...in time for the hot track days!
