Brian, you've offered the opinion that chassis flex may contribute to the ND's transmission problem. If so, wouldn't stiffening engine or diff mounts, without any other reinforcements, make the problem worse?

Stiffer mounts limit the flex, so they help reduce twist for given amount of chassis input.
