We have dropped over 37 pounds from the front end of this project in just one week! Took 25 pounds off with the nose last week with our new RoadsterSport NC Ultra Light Battery MOUNTING KIT, now on our site. And we took another 12+ pounds off the nose in the last 24 hours with new budget big brake setup. Front end response noticeably improved!

I hope this isn't a dumb question, Brian. Are any upgrades required for the master / slave cylinder with this? And how are the pedal travel and pedal feel like compared to stock?

More pistons, but small pistons, no change in pedal travel. Thus, no other upgrades needed.

Brian, Where might an interested party find a used 2.5l motor?

Will there be rear calipers/rotors with this new budget kit or just front brake parts?

This new front kit is just a front kit.

The easy answer for rear for those seeking more rear thermal capacity will be just stock RX8 rear caliper. That solution is relatively heavy but bolts up easy. Beyond that there are no easy rear answers unless you jump to our 12.88 kit with dedicated rear parking brake calipers. We have done rear four piston without dedicated parking brake caliper in the rear for ND and that really only works for the dedicated track guys.

Had a lot of questions about whether our new 12.19 Big Brakes fit the SUPER popular Enkei RP-F1 17x9.

Answer is YES, easily!
