Pad mixing

Post by Tonioo »

Hi all,

Is there any recommandation for mixing or not pads compounds for switching regularly from street to track ?
I plan to use BP-20 for street and DTC-60 on track. Does the rotors and pads would appreciate the alternation ? (Dynapro calipers and Spec37 rotors material).

Regards

I have not tried that particular combo of pads on same car. Some pads mix well, some don't. I tend to run Porterfield R4S for street and R41 or R4 for track and these are all designed to mix easily without having to do significant new bedding with each swap.
