Another website discussed the "capping" of the left exhaust pipe on the Super-Q Twin Tip muffler to remove unwanted bass sound. Capping means placing a metal cap (a stainless steel sink hole cover) in the included baffle with a 7/16" - 1/2" hole drilled in the cap.
I briefly tested this and it does remove a lot of the bass, but I have concerns of engine/muffler damage or performance impairment due to the reduction in air flow and or the possible build up of pressure in the muffle from the added resistance and or obstruction in air flow.
Any thoughts on this?

Re: Super-Q TT Exhaust and Sound Adjustment
Still MUCH more flow through remaining outlet than entire stock muffler. Stock muffler has all flow pass through two very tiny holes.
