MX-5 Reverse Rake

Hi, folks...

Looking for advice. I had previously installed Bilstein B6 shocks, adjustable end links and an aftermarket rear sway bar on my '19 Sport. The car sat generally at 14-5/8' in front and 14" in the rear at that time. I have a 16" wheel/tire setup. I never did take measurements prior to those changes.

I installed my Goodwin Progressive springs a week ago, and it dropped my MX-5 exactly an inch both front and rear.

So this reverse rake persists. Any thoughts on what I can do to address this? TIA

Sounds like stuck front bushings, which is why change of springs is not changing the reverse rake. The TSB on this is in the Progress product description but in brief I would make all the front suspension bolts loose and jack each front corner by the spindle way up to get those bushings at each corner to move. See additional notes in product description.

Yep, that's the info. This is going to appear very odd to any mechanic not working on miatas all the time because this is really unique to the way Mazda designed the suspension and not something they would normally see or do on other cars.

Thanks, Brian...my mechanic figured it out this morning and we are GTG.
Quite a difference...we're pretty much at the same mark all around now.
I really appreciate the help...
