SSTT VS. SQTT

Post by TaegyunK013 »

Hi All, I own nd1 rf and am currently debating between sstt and sqtt. Is sstt much louder than sqtt? What the difference between sstt with both baffles installed and sqtt w/o baffles? Also, is sqtt still within the updated/ more restricted exhaust sound regulation in CA? I am afraid that sstt may be too loud annoying other people on the street. I appreciate your thoughts in advance.

YES, SSTT is a higher volume muffler, though it has more helmholtz chamber so drone is actually more controlled.

SQTT has smaller helmholtz for less drone control but it doesn't need as much control since it has a muffler area that is about 2.5 times bigger than SSTT and that means much lower overall volume, particularly if you put baffle in the driver's side tip.
