Abs or no abs for track NC

Good evening all. Got stuck into gutting the NC last week for my track build. Started thinning out wires but have decided I'm going to go the aftermarket ECU root.
Question I have is.. abs or no abs. It seems everyone in the motor racing scene here in New Zealand is anti keeping abs. some say cars with abs on the track become dangerous.
I know my nissan pulsar isn't wonderful when abs happens.

I have done it both ways with NC, having it in the car really doesn't bother me in track use with the NC. On projects that were full stripped out we generally skipped it because it was just more simple when using non-stock ECU. But on NC projects that use reflashed factory ECU we left it in and it doesn't cause me any issues.

I've got guys telling me this sort of thing also. The brake bias on an NC is 50/50... the ABS does the rest. Without the ABS you lock up rear brakes under braking.

Did you do anything fancy when removing your abs Brian

On the NC we did without ABS it was just never there....cars built from bare shells. So, those cars never had VIN numbers or ABS or any stock wiring. Thus, I don't know if you face any issue taking out ABS from a car that already had it, suggest you ask that in one of the Facebook NC racer groups.

Oh yes I understand. Looks like it's abit of major removing it.
Suggested that I change over to the rx8 hubs, abs system as it's A mechanical system ( not needing ECU ) as I'm going to be running a haltech ECU.

Indeed we always do the RX8 hub upgrade at the front, which is easy. Rear we usually do not, though on the most serious projects we have done it if power and grip were going to be extra high (beyond 300 hp at wheels and 10 inch wide wheels, etc).
