I can't imagine an 8.9 quake...and what it would do here. Our hearts go out to our friends in Japan. Got a few emails from friends over there explaining that they are online and can't sleep because the ground won't stop moving. Best wishes to all in Japan for a speedy recovery!

Indeed. Very amazing to see the pictures and videos tonight. If there is any good to come out of this, it's that the quake didn't hit on shore.
