Many will recognize Tom Hnatiw from SPEED TV coverage in the first and last pictures. I was not prepared for him to take interest in the car and he took a big interest in NCLIGHT but fresh out of running in the race group I just babbled through the interview. Then they asked to put their cameras on the car....cool! Then they asked me to take three exhibition laps with their cameras....super cool! Second pic below is me adding seat to NCNIGHT. Also below is a friends' 1000 horsepower twin turbo Vette. Picture of me in passenger seat of my student's Viper preparing for a teaching session (Owner Eddie a great guy and fast learner, picked up the track quickly.

Much enjoyed running with NARRA and strongly recommend Mazda owners give them a try! Because their rules are simple power to weight ratio, a well prepared Miata, RX8 or RX7, can be VERY competitive. Think of it this way, if you are well matched on power to weight but those big block cars are 1000 pounds heavier then the lighter cars have the advantage in the corners.....where hp doesn't help! Super friendly group, well run (run groups actually start on time...imagine that!), great food, amazing vendor support (Archer Racing crew was great), etc. I strongly recommend NARRA to any track day enthusiast.
