wat is the widest tire i can run

hi i have a 90 miata and i have a set of 2 235/45-17 and wanted to know if i could run them on the rear of a 90 miata with out rubbing stock struts and springs and if so what offset will i need for it. thanks

Sorry...that will rub like crazy because the diameter is too large.

wat is the widest tire i can run in the back of the 90 miata and i can get a fender roller from my friend who owns a body shop but i dont want to have to roll it i would like to run 17's or 16's and the widest i can get under with out rolling in the rear

Read the Enkei RP-F1 thread....which is a couple of lines down and shows you that we can fit street tires of 245/35/16 on our 16x8 in stock fenders. The secret is keeping diameter near stock.
