Re: New Shipment 6UL 15x7.5 and 15x8 and 15x9
So it would appear that a 15x8 with 225/45s will fit somewhat inside the fender/wheelwells on an NA?

Yes and No.ROHDSTA wrote:So it would appear that a 15x8 with 225/45s will fit somewhat inside the fender/wheelwells on an NA?
With the right OFFSET and fender roll you can fit them within the fender well. A 42mm offset makes it relatively easy. A 35 offset takes more aggressive fender rolling. And a 30mm offset takes SERIOUS pull and roll.

OK, great - thanks. I've already got the fenders rolled, so 42mm it is. I assume you handle the various offsets?

Re: New Shipment 6UL 15x7.5 and 15x8 and 15x9
OK, I'm starting to feel like a pest, but I want to make sure that what I want actually works.
I'm looking for a beefy look for the car, and definitely like to push the car in the mountains and such, but will probably never do much in the way of AutoX, etc., other than possibly the odd open track day at a local kart track, just for fun, not competition. So I'm not wanting to have to do a lot of mods, etc., more of a plug-n-play that works well on the street, yet affords me the best handling and the look I want. (Not asking for much, right? )
So now I've got a couple of guys suggesting I go to the 15x9 for my new 225/45 RS3s instead of the 15x8s on my '93, and I have to say I do like the look. I'm lowered on Megan coilovers, sitting at 12" front, 12.25" rear, fenders rolled fairly well, recent Lanny alignment. What are my possibilities of running the 9s without too much of a hassle with rubbing, having to run spacers, etc.? Or should I just stick with the 8"?
Thanks again -
