BEST RUN FLAT TIRES FOR OEM 17"

Was looking at discountires and came across the pirelli runflat tires. Read the reviews and everyone said their set of pirelli wore out under 15000. question is which is the best runflat tire out there?

Best run flat tires? That like asking what’s the best disease to die from! LOL
You be better off buying Toyo T1R's, getting a tire pump and patch kit.
The tires will make your driving experience much more enjoyable

aren't runflats suppose to be the new thing now?? if not why even sell them? or are they only on the mx5s because of the lack of a spare??

Yep, you won't find a lot performance enthusiasts who like runflats. Generally, more weight and sloppy handling are what you get with the runflats.

It depends on what you are doing with the setup. Are your current tires worn out and it is time to replace tires that will be pure street use? Or do we plan some autocross?
