Enkei PF01 pictures on NC miata

Post by anjelzon »

Anybody have any pictures of an NC miata with 18x7 1/2 or 18x8 that they can post? I am interested in getting PF01's in 18 for a 2006 limited and would like to see them on some NC miatas. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just in case anyone is looking for pictures of an NC with 17" PF01s, here they are. I'll post more after the weekend.

Update: Per Enkei as of 4-30-10 the PF01's in 18x8 +50et will be here June 14th. 18x8 +45et are here now. Sorry I didn't ask about the 18x7.5. Also the weight of the 18x8 is in the 18lbs range because they can only offer a shipping weight. Maybe if Brian has a 18x8 +45et in stock he could give us a true wheel weight? Enkei also asked me if I wanted black or silver? Hmm.
I will be selling the silver OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 +48et I have now as soon I know for sure the delivery date is not delayed.

I am skeptical of that claim of 18 pounds for 18x8. Until it lands on our scale here I would not put much stock in that.... So far, every size of PFO1 has come in a few pounds heavier than comparable RP-F1 sizes.

Thanks for the reply Brian. So I'm guessing you don't have a 18x8 w/45et in stock yet?

Thanks again.

Not a size we would ever stock....we would ship those to you from Enkei. We sell 17x9 every day....we might sell 18x8 twice a year. We do stock 18x9.5. Not much demand for 18 inch other that 18x9.5 for those racing CSP or SSM, etc.

Brian,
Thanks for the reply. I saw a set of PF01's on you sweet little yellow car so I though you might know.
I read this wheel will take the Big Brakes or Big Brake kits of most cars.
Would really like a 17x8.5 w/ 50 to 52et!!!

Thanks again,
ASL

yep, that's 45mm PFO1 18x9.5 on the Yellow NC LIGHT. Tons of brake clearance...I have our RX8 big brake front kit on there. Not much clearance to the inside using even just 255mm tires....and 285 rub in the rear INSIDE with 45mm offset. Thus, your 17x8.5 w/ 50 to 52et would rub if you went much beyond about 235mm.

Thanks again Brian for your reply. Hmm, funny I saw / read one owner was running a BBS wheel in a 18x8 +60et w/ a 235/40-18 tire he said nothing about rubbing on the rear. He was lowered a fair amount with H&R coilovers from what I remember. 285/30-18 that's a lot of tire for a little car. Would be good for a race car but I'm thinking might be a bit much for street driving. I would think it would "track" / pull all over the place with groves in the roadway. The 17x8.5 +50 wheel would look nice to me w/ 255/40-17 tire.

Thanks again,
ASL

PS. Sure like to see in person that little yellow car maybe go for a ride in a real race car? Thanks for all your insight.
