Toyo R1R

Brian,
For an autocross setup would the Toyo R1R be a good choice(some guys in my club think the RA 1 is a better choice as a DOT type competition tire(I have to drive to events 250-500 km each way as well)
Also trying to decide between the Enkei RPF-1 and the 6UL wheels 17x9 and the R1R(if indeed it is a good choice.)
My street setup is your older combo of Enkei RS+M17x8 with Toyo T1R 235-40-17
I have a Eastwood on order for fender rolling so am looking at 245/255-40-17 sizes.

Both tires would work well. The R1R is a top autocross winning choice for the street tire classes that require a 140 treadwear.
