I am about to purchase new RPF1's and was going to put an extra set of tires that are 235/45/17 I have on them onto the miata. My car is lowered on coilovers and was wondering if i can fit this in without rolling the fenders? I see a lot of people use 245/40/17 but i was hoping not to have to buy new tires yet.

About the same diameter as 255/40 that STR racers often run, a bit tall and you might have rub depending on wheel offset, height and camber. Assuming offset of about 50mm, should be okay.
